Trout, Steelhead and Salmon fill the rolling water and quiet eddies here on the majestic Deschutes.

Trout

Fishing for trout on the Deschutes River is good all season. World renown Salmon Fly hatch generally occurs the end of May through middle of June on the Deschutes. If you are lucky enough to time this right, it’s an experience of a lifetime. Fish on!

Steelhead

If you are a steelhead fisherman, fishing for Deschutes River steelhead should definitely be on your list of rivers to fish. Along the stretch of the Deschutes River bordering our ranch fishing is best in the Fall, generally beginning around mid September.

Salmon

July-October on specified sections of the Deschutes.
